Raging Texan

"Cuidado, guerito. Este es muy picoso", she said, pointing to the container of habanero salsa I eagerly held in my hand. I smiled at her and told her, "Yo se. A mi me gusta esa." The woman shook her head, grinned, and said "Tenga buen dia." "Igualmente." And with that, I headed home, tacos and Jarritos Mandarina at the ready.

The breakfast of champions.

The al pastor was great today, as they tossed in some of their trademark caramelized onions which, mixed with the sauce and the slow-cooked pork, was the best idea they've had all morning. The carnitas was pretty unremarkable. A bit too dry for my liking, so I just soaked it in salsa roja and prayed for the best. And the carne asada was fantastic as always. For four bucks with a Jarritos of your choice, you can't go wrong with this one. Although I think I'll skip the carnitas next time.
